A direct tribute to the architectural training of the artistic director of La Maison Les Basiles Paris, Boris Djofang, and inspired by 18th century French neoclassicism, the Gabriel watch evokes the architectural achievements of Ange Jacques Gabriel, a pioneer of this architecture of enlightenment.
Rigorously applying the precepts of neoclassicism of Ange-Jacques Gabriel, first architect to King Louis XV, the Gabriel watch stands out for its subtle balance between rectilinear lines and feminine curves. This timepiece, both rococo and modern, will bring to your looks the refined charm characteristic of the Age of Enlightenment.
Just like the galleries and colonnades of the neoclassical palaces of the Petit Trianon and the École Militaire in Paris, the Gabriel watch boasts an austere monochrome look, softened by its soft shapes. Its equally monochrome dial is enhanced by contrasting hands. The interplay of textures in the steel, between sandblasted, brushed and polished, is the apotheosis of this monochromatic masterpiece.
Apotheosis of French culture and know-how, the decorative arts of the second half of the 18th century are an explosion of refinement, with the mastery of new decorative techniques, such as marquetry, gilding, engraving, painting thanks to which exceptional objects, always highly sought after by collectors, could be created. A masterpiece of decorative arts, the Gabriel / Ange-Jacques watch features a bath-dyed mother-of-pearl dial, a fluted steel crown adorned with a synthetic green cabochon-shaped spinel, and a steel bracelet inlaid with caviar-embossed Italian calfskin. The Maison's original "Marquise" hands and raised steel numerals complete this watch with a classic yet contemporary design. Inside the case, an ultra-thin Swiss Ronda 763 quartz movement allows this lightweight and comfortable watch to be only 7mm thick.
The Gabriel / Neo-classic watch, a minimalist and architectural interpretation of the Gabriel Neo-Classic, features a textured dial for its white versions and a gradient sunray dial for its colored versions, a fluted steel crown adorned with a synthetic green cabochon-shaped spinel, and a saffiano-embossed Italian calfskin strap. Contrasting "Marquise" hands, raised steel numerals and monochrome second indexes complete this dress watch. The case houses a Seiko NH05 automatic movement, with a thickness of 11mm.

The case, with a transparent sandblasted glass back, houses a Seiko NH05 automatic movement, for a thickness of 11mm.
